Nic Hyche '24 Recruiting Profile

I love the game of basketball. I love the challenges that come along with developing and growing in this sport. My dad has always taught me the value of hard work and how much of it that has to be put into this game to be great. Basketball requires and honors hard work and that's where I always strive to separate myself. I get up before school to work on skills. I believe in the process and know there is no other way to find success. 

I have always led my school and AAU teams in scoring and assists, but I know how important it is to get stops, rebound, and lead our teams to wins. I've learned that making others better around me is the ultimate key to having team success and I try to lead in every way possible. My favorite accomplishment so far is losing only 1 middle school game the last two seasons and winning an area championship. So much work is put in from the beginning of tryouts, to summer series, and into the season. And all that work makes for a fantastic and fun journey in a sport that gives you back everything you put into it. Can't wait to see what's next.
