Summary: I want play in college at the highest level possible. I pride myself on my being a team player and having high character. My strengths are shooting the 3, my confidence from deep, and my knowledge of the game. I feel I have a high competitive spirit, and want to win every possession.
Sophomore Season- In January 2019, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer. After removal of my right testicle that January, I finished the season strong. However, in May 2019, the cancer resurfaced in my stomach. My 2019 summer travel schedule was reduced, since I went through 3 months of chemotherapy. Some of my story is here- https://www.wsmv.com/news/teen-fights-cancer-again-with-army-of-supporters/article_f33986da-835d-11e9-92d9-e728e6830483.html
My junior season at Father Ryan was exciting due to our 19-11 record. My body was still recovering, and I played limited minutes. My season high vs Tullahoma- https://twitter.com/PrepHoopsTN/status/1218692650783723522
For the spring and summer of 2020, I am training with Evan Ragsdale (Trevecca, Christ Pres. Academy), and am getting ready for a big senior season. Cancer does not define me, it is only 1 piece of my journey. Please follow me on Instagram- https://www.instagram.com/lukeconger79/
