Luke Whelchel '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Luke Whelchel and I want to play college basketball because basketball is my passion. I have loved it since I was very young, and "ball" was actually the first word I ever spoke.

I believe I could be an asset to your team because I am very smart. I have had a 4.0 all four years of high school.  I also have a high basketball IQ, so I can stay calm and collected in every situation. I am a student of the game, and I also have a very good work ethic. I enjoy staying in the gym and working on my game for hours. I have worked very hard on my ball handling and shooting abilities. I shot over 40% from three all four years of high school, and this past year I was the district mvp, and I was all-state. 

I am also a good teammate and a good leader and will always be kind and respectful to my teammates and the coach. Thank you for taking the time to check out my profile.
