Adrian Williams '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Adrian Williams and I am a Senior at John B. Connally High School in Austin, Texas. I am 6 foot 1 inches and currently weigh 165 pounds, I played junior varsity my freshman year and have been a starter for varsity team my sophmore year as a shooting guard and have not looked back since. My sophmore year i was awarded newcomer of the year for district 5A region II 16. Since my sophmore year, and Junior Year recieved second team all district award.Senior year recieved first team all district and first all academic district. As well as have been selected to play in our ALL STAR PLAYER game. I have made a substantial impact for my teammates and myself. I have realized there are different aspects of the game that can drastically change the tempo of the game. which of course shooting the ball is important, but working on a daily basis to always improve dribbling, defensive and passing skills is what has helped me make this substantial impact for myself. Throughout my sophmore year I averaged between 15 to 28 points a game. I am looking for an institution that has a a good strong academic and athletic department in particular basketball. I am open to speaking to any institution who will help me pursue a good future for myself. I would like to speak and visit with coaches about their program and visit campuses as i await to make a college decision, which will be a very important decision for my future.
