I've been playing organized basketball every since I was 6, and I've LOVED the game since I touched the hardwood. God has brought me through a lot of trials and tribulations through basketball. Some people ask me why do you keep going? "Why do you keep playing?" I tell them because this is a gift that God has blessed me with. God has gifted me to play this game and he wants to use basketball as a platform for his kingdom. I won't stop playing this game until I have accomplished that task. Also, playing at the next level has always been my goal, and I know it can only come true with hard work and determination. That's not only on the court but also in the classroom. I take my education very serious which is the third priority in my life behind God and family because one day the ball will stop bouncing, and I must have a quality education in order to become successful in life. With the help of my two supportive parents, they ensure I have everything I need in order to be successful in and outside of the classroom . I currently have a 3.3 GPA, and want to major in kinesiology in college. I've been actively involved in my community since the age of 10. I volunteer at a battered women shelter and a senior nursing home on a monthly basis. I'm very coachable and a well mannered young man. I am also a leader on and off the court, and I also know what it is like to be apart of a winning high school and a AAU program. I believe my skills, athleticism, competitive nature, and high basketball IQ will be a great asset to anyone's team at the next level. I am not picky or to good for any college because at the end of the day, it is about doing what I "LOVE" and that is playing basketball, receiving a great education, and making a difference in society.
