Ivan Medina '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a Senior Point Forward/Guard at Lutheran South Academy in Houston, TX. I want to play at the highest level of competition I can, because I believe there is always a chance to earn playing time with hard work and dedication.

I am a 6'4", weigh 190 pounds and consider to myself to be an athletic player who can distribute, score, and play defense.  I am a team player and an excellent student.  Basketball is my passion and I am dedicated to putting in the work to be the best player I can be.  I am a 1st Team All District player.  I was selected to the State All Tournament team where my team finished in the final four after winning both District and Regional titles.

My main goal is to get a good education to prepare myself  for the rest of my life.  I know I will do something productive in this world and I want to make my parents proud.  My desire is Basketball, it will always be a part of me no matter where I end up in life.  I have traveled all over the world and lived in other countries, but basketball has always been a part of my life.  It would be my dream to continue to play basketball after college in an international league before I start my career.
