My goal is to be the best basketball player I can be, and to be the best person I can be. To achieve these goals, I will continue to sharpen my basketball skills to increase the opportunity for obtaining a college scholarship. I also plan to pursue opportunities to play basketball beyond college. My ultimate goal is to be able to play Divsion-I basketball while obtaining a graduate degree in Psychology.
More than the honor of awards and the glory of personal recognition, I can appreciate what basketball has taught me about myself. I have learned that I crave competitive environments, even ones where I am not the most gifted or talented. My basketball experience has also taught me to enjoy intense preparation and working with a team toward a common goal, even when there is little personal reward or recognition to be found. I have also learned to remain persistent in the midst of disappointments. I hope to apply these lessons in a career as either a Psychologist or a Counselor.
What sets me apart from other recruits is my intense love for the game of basektball -- I play every play like its my last. I look forward to fulfillinh my life long dream of making of being successful court as well as in life.
