My name is Jalen "JayBoogie" Chism, an Arkansas native and a Top Prospect (SG) from the 2022 Fall All-American High School Showcase. Currently, I am a senior at Community High School "Brave Nation" in Nevada, Texas and will be amongst the graduating class of 2023.
I am a very versatile player, athletically strong and have the ability to adapt in different positions such as a guard (G) and shooting guard (SG). I contribute to both sides of the court. I am an offensive and defensive player. I am 6'3 in height, 187 pounds and continue to make mental and physical progress each day. I am a fast learner and self-starter. I am a hard worker and dedicated to progress.
What makes me different from other recruits? I know that leadership doesn't start on the court and defense wins games.
I love the game of basketball! My mom and dad taught me to be a "Man of No Excuses"
