My name is Elvis Garces, and I am currently enrolled at O'Donnell High School. I have been playing basketball since I was six years old. Since I first stepped on the court, I knew that this was what I loved to do. I have imagined the thought of playing at any college level. My game strengths consist of strong catch and shooting, above average basketball IQ, and slightly above average ball handling. I lead both on and off the court. only hoping that young kids will one day strive to be like myself. I would say that I pick up on moves fairly quickly and am very coachable changing to the coaches best interest. during my High School Career, I have done 6 Dual credit courses, member of the student council, volunteer for our O'Donnell Little Dribblers Progam, and camp sponsor for our local Church. I have participated in UIL Academics and athletics: Number Sence, Mathematics, Calculator, CX Debate, One Act Play, Congres, XC, basketball, Baseball, and Track. I put in about 80 hours a week in the offseason, working on skills to develop my game. I am willing to work the extra mile compared to the average player. therfore, I am open to all options on colleges, only wanting to challenge myself to put one hundred percent on any court.
