Kai Barr '19 Recruiting Profile

My family is incredibly important to me, so I am interested in finding a "family" away from home. I want to grow as a young man amongst peers and coaches who challenge me to be a better version of myself each day. I want to work alongside teammates who are passionate about the game, who have incredible work ethic, and who work together to achieve success!

I was the leading scorer for Pottsboro High School during the 2017-2018 season, yet my contributions go beyond scoring. I enjoy passing the ball to find the open man, rebounding and pushing the ball down the floor, creating havoc in the paint, dunking to fire up the crowd, and most importantly, cheering on my teammates -- you can find me yelling from the bench, congratulating and helping them to their feet when they take a charge, handing out high fives, and encouraging them when they need a boost.

During the 2017-2018 season, I was one of three players nominated as Player of the Year (tri-county area 1A-5A) by the Herald Democrats and selected 1st Team All District and 1st Team Academic All District. I was the S&S "For the Love of the Game" Tournament MVP and selected to the Leonard Holiday All Tournament Team. 

When I'm not in the gym, I spend time with my family and attend church, go fishing with my buddies, grub down at Whataburger with friends, and work for local businesses in need of part-time help.
