I remember growing up watching basketball on TV. Duke caught my eyes and ever since than that is my dream school. I started playing at 4 yrs old at the park programs once i turned 8 yrs old i went to play for the YMCA i wanted a little more competition. When i went to middle school by goal was to make A team my 7th and 8th yrs. I worked hard practice everyday to get myself ready for HS basketball. My 7th grade year i joined my first AAU team very different from school basketball but it exposed me to different talent from other players. I set myself another goal which was make JV as a started my freshman year i knew it was going to be challenging it only made me want to push myself harder turned out I made the JV starting guard , had i very good season . My summer of freshman going to sophomore season I know I had to push myself even more if I wanted to be a starter on varsity, so that whole summer I worked and worked , then finally school ball came around , didn’t really get to start the first half of the season ,but I didn’t give up I get pushing and pushing myself , for the second half of the season I had earned my starting position.
