As a High School Basketball Player, I wish to develop my skills as a player and teammate, improving as a player, so that I can become more valuable in the future, as my goal to become a college athlete is pursued. I work hard on and off the court to demonstrate strong leadership skills that will last beyond the basketball court. I believe there are so many life lessons that can be taught throughout a lifetime of being an athlete. I try to use each win, loss, struggle, and hurdle as an opportunity for growth and betterment of myself. I understand that this is not always an easy goal, but it is always something I can work towards and that is an accomplishment.
In the classroom, I am respectful and know the importance of maintaining a high GPA so that I can not only be a valuable athlete, but also an intelligent student. I realize it is up to me to gain an education for my future, and I will do what it takes to ensure I use the tools I am given to succeed in both my education and my athletic career.
