Last year I started on varsity as a sophomore at a 6A school and got to learn a lot from my older teammates. We ended up having a bad season finishing 7th in district out of 8 teams. Which has really motivated me to work harder and lead my teammates to do the same. Over quarantine I have been working out multiple hours a day to prepare for the season. Our teams goal next year is to make the playoffs and I’m going to have to be an important part of the team.
Some of my strengths on the court are my three point shot, ability to get to the basket, and my basketball iq which is important being the point guard. Also off the court I work hard in the classroom and have a 4.0 GPA. Academics is an important part of what i’m looking for in a school. I have learned a lot about basketball from my dad who played d1 basketball at Ohio university and he inspired me to play. I believe I have the talent, work-ethic, academics, and leadership to play at the next level.
