My goal is to find a school that provides the right balance between athletics and academics. On the athletic side, I will be looking for a school with a good basketball program and a good culture of success, a place that will enable me to build lifelong relationships. On the academic side, I have not yet determined the professional path I want to take, but I have considered accounting, business, law, and oral surgery. I will be looking for schools with a good academic reputation and with good job placement programs and support upon graduation.
In terms of the things that would make me a good candidate for a program, I would say that I intend to be both a student and an athlete. As a student, I am serious and goal oriented. My parents have instilled in me an understanding of the importance of academic success and the long-term impact it can have on my life. As an athlete, I would say I am a team player who “comes to play” every day. I don’t take days off. I work hard in practice, and I work hard in the game.
