Gavin Hardy '20 Recruiting Profile

As many players out there I have a love and passion for the game of basketball.  I grew up in the gym with my father who has coached high school basketball for my entire life.  I recall being in the gym with my father and seeing him win state championships and feeling like I was a part of it as a young boy.  I have always had a different view of the game of basketball that has come from more of a coaches perspective due to my time in the gym with my father.  I have always been a student of the game and enjoy talking strategy and x's and o's with my father and coaches.  Being a coaches kid has helped me grow as a player and these experiences have helped me gain a vision and knowledge on the floor that are second to none.  I love to get a great assist as much as I do to score.  I'm a great teammate and take great pride in helping those around me to be their best and I will do whatever it takes to help the team win.  I know I would help any team achieve success that was willing to give me a chance.
