Conner Houghton '21 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coach,

My name is Conner Houghton.  I'm a junior at Salem Hills High School in Salem, Utah.  Ever since I've been a kid I've wanted to play college golf.  When I was 8 years old I picked up the game and set a goal that I wanted to play college golf.  I've worked hard year around to become better and better.  I love to practice.  In the winter I putt and hit balls in my basement each morning and night.  The rest of the year I'm at the course putting, chipping, playing and practicing.  My scores have improved and I consistently shoot in the low 70's and high 60's.  What makes me different is that I will out work anyone.  You'll never meet another player that will work harder than me, but I still want to learn and will listen to you.  That's really important to me.  I'm teachable and a team player and leader.  I like to build up my teammates.  I've been on student council and served as the president and vice president.  I'm a straight A student.  But really I want you to know that I'm an honest hardworking student that loves golf and will love to represent you and the school.  Thanks for looking at my profile.
