Jacob Leamon '23 Recruiting Profile

My goal as a basketball player is to be able to continue to play the sport I love for another 4 years at the highest level I can. I approach everyday and attempt to make myself better than I was the day before. I truly want to be the best player I can be and take basketball as far as I can. I really love the slow grind and the day to day work to attempt to make small improvements to my skills. I am a hard worker on and off the court and am willing to do whatever it takes to get better and to help my team win. I am more than anything a gritty player and pride myself on my defensive ability, hustle, and making the tough plays to help my team win. I am also a student of the game and love to pay attention to the small details that define basketball. While I am competitive and always want to win, I love to support and compliment my teammates and contribute even when I'm not on the floor. In the classroom, I bring the same attitude and am a bright, quick learner that likes to challenge himself.
