Personal Statement
I am currently an 11th grader at Hartford High School in Vermont. I have been participating in track and field on various teams since first grade. I have always pushed myself to compete at the highest level, whether it is academically or athletically. Even though we do not have a track to practice on at our school, I travel to other schools in order to get workouts in. I am dedicated to improving every year and always set personal goals in events at the start of each year. I have continued to improve on my personal best's each year through hard work and determination. Academically I have attained highest honors or honor roll every year and have recently been admitted into the National Honors Society. I participate in many school activities as well as basketball and field hockey in the other sports seasons. During the winter season I am on my high schools basketball team, but I do indoor track as well so I can keep in shape and still compete. I have started my college search and hope to continue to find new schools.
