Eastern Henrico, Va. I grew up playing sports, mostly football, It was in middle school where I tried out and made the basketball team. Over a hundred kids tried out, I made the cut. The next year I played AAU travel basketball for the first time. It was then that I have truly fell in love with basketball. I knew then that I no longer wanted to play football. I dream of playing Pro in the NBA or overseas some day.
Physically, I’m in great shape. I’ve been an athlete since the age of seven. When I’m not working out on my body or game, I’m usually studying. I believe I’m very knowledgeable of the game and eager to learn more. I’ve been stepping up and working on my leadership qualities. I have great floor vision. I’m a team player and motivator. I don’t quit. I’ve won and lost championships. Im experienced in playing high level games under pressure. I believe with the help and guidance of my coaches, parents and my dedication and hard work. I will be fully prepared and ready at the next level.
words from club coach:
Da’veon has the ability to make plays at the wing position. He is a willing passer and an above average finisher at the rim. Da’veon uses his physicality to impose his will on both sides of the basketball. He also has a consistent pull-up jumper that he uses as a counter when the defense is defending his drive.
