Drew Martin '21 Recruiting Profile

As a student and a player I strive to be the best I can be. I always put all my effort and focus into achieving my goals, whether that's academically or athletically. Hard work is something I know very well, and it's hard work that's gotten me to where I am.  As a student I excel in all my classes and take dual-enrollment classes to further my education. I've always been good at mathematics and that's what I want to make a career out of.

As a player I take pride in what I do and how I act on the court. My teammates are my brothers, and we win and lose together. I do what my team needs me to do, whether that is scoring, passing, defense, etc. On offense I'm an aggressive driver and talented finisher. I'm a play maker that can setup myself or my teammates to score. I'm also a good shooter that can pull up off the dribble or in catch and shoot situations. On defense I feel I'm very versatile, and I've guarded players ranging from five foot nine to seven foot tall. For my size I'm a very talented shot blocker no matter who I'm guarding. I'm quick off my feet and that has allowed me to excel in many places of my game.

I've been tremendously blessed with the talents and athletic ability that I have. I never take that blessing for granted and I work hard everyday to further those abilities. I am willing and able to work on every single aspect of my game. I feel that I can be a tremendous addition for any college program because of my work ethic and my talent. It is my dream and my goal to play college basketball, and I will do whatever it takes to achieve that goal.
