Benjamin Deochand '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Benjamin Deochand. I currently play as a power forward for Camas Select and Shawn Johnson’s All Stars Club out of the cities of Camas and Vancouver in Washington State. I am in the class of 2027 at Skyridge Middle School in Camas WA. After making the varsity middle school team “Team A”, I was named captain. I average 25 points a game, 15 rebounds, 2 steals, and 10 assists.

I was awarded the Most Valued Player for the 2022 basketball season for Skyridge Middle School.

I have successfully made the red team (best team) for the 4th/5th, 6th and 7th grade with

Camas Select/Camas Youth Basketball. Each year we qualified for the Washington Middle school basketball Championship.

I won 4 straight championships at the Hoopla 3x3 basketball tournament in

Salem, Oregon.

In May 2022 I was invited to participate in the CP3 national Middle School Combine Basketball tournament, and I was selected among the top 20 players for my grade level.

Basketball has been my passion each day, especially when it comes to my team, friends, family, and lifestyle. I am a dedicated and hardworking student-athlete who is dreaming of playing basketball at its highest level.
