I love basketball and have played for as long as I can remember. I grew more than six inches from my freshman to my sophomore year. This forced me to make some adjustments in my game and I've worked hard to continue to improve my skills using my new strength and size. I'm an unselfish player, take pride in my defense and battle for every rebound.
My goal is to play college basketball, and will continue to put in the time and hard work over the next two years to achieve that goal. I'm not the flashiest player on the court, that's not important to me. I take pride in my defense, and do what it takes on both sides of the floor to get the job done. I get up early to get shots up before school, and work on my ball handling and footwork after school. I also spend three days a week strength and conditioning training with our IRG training coach.
I'm a good friend and teammate. I also take my education seriously, and have become a leader both on and off the court. I'm currently taking AP World History and participate in DECA and Key Club (community service organization).
