Gaine Burghardt '17 Recruiting Profile

Upon my high school graduation in 2017, it is my goal to play for a college basketball team.  I have always set my sights on this goal, and by combining it with my intended major of sports medicine, it is my desire to compete at the next level.  I feel I would be a solid candidate because I not only would bring a solid skill set, but I also have a tremendous work ethic and positive attitude towards my teammates and coaches.  I put in 100% at all team practices, and during my off time I continue this dedication to my development of my craft.  I do not settle for where I am, but constantly strive to better myself as a person and an athlete.  In addition, my teammates often turn to me for leadership.  I have strong morals and feel that my character strengths of honesty and fairness is shown in my interactions with others.  I work hard to be a viewed as a good person, and set my sights on always improving to become a better person.
