Isaac Kuiper '20 Recruiting Profile

From a young age I've always loved the game of basketball, but only recently have I competitively played. Ever since I entered highschool I knew this was something I wanted to keep doing for a long while, and so I practiced and worked hard. 

I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life growing up, I just wanted to play ball and hangout with friends. But I've always loved the idea of teaching and/or coaching, and that's what I've decided to follow going into college.

My dream is to get a scholarship and play for a D1 college, but I didn't start early enough for that to happen. Now I want to be able to make it to a team that I can compete with an intense level of passion and bond with my teammates. I'm the most competitive person I know, and often that can clash with my team if I feel we aren't putting in enough effort, but we grow in that and become better players and people.

The most important thing to me in the end is my faith in Jesus Christ. My coach had a list of the most important things in our lives: 1. God 2. Family 3. School 4. Basketball. I will follow this my entire life.
