Hard work, dedication and commitment are the main things that make me who I am. Without those three things, I wouldn’t be who I am today. I was woken up my freshman year. My eighth grade year, I thought I was good enough to play on the varsity level. I was wrong. My freshman year, I didn’t even start JV, so that woke me up. I realized to be where I wanted to be and who I wanted to be. I was gonna have to work hard every single second of my workouts, practices and games. So I decided that was what I was gonna do. I have to be dedicated and committed to basketball to get what I really want out of the sport. I also have to be committed to my team and family and make sure they know that I’m going to do everything I can do to help them out even though it may not make me look the best as an individual because that’s not what matters. What matters is that I’m here for my team and family and always will be!
