Samuel Majeske '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Samuel Majeske. I've always played sports year-round: football, basketball & baseball. I enjoy all sports, but basketball has always stood out as my favorite. Basketball is a sport that allows me to not only work on my individual skills, but also work on my team skills. I love the challenge of the sport, there's always new goals & new heights I'm working to achieve. 

I pride myself in being a positive team player, with a good all around game. I've got strong shooting skills, can make the plays on the inside, & play clean, but aggressive defense. What sets me apart from many others is my quick reaction time, ability to see openings & make plays happen with smart passes to a teammate rather than keeping the ball & driving in myself. 

My family & I live in rural western Wisconsin where we raise beef cattle & farm over 700 acres of corn, soybeans & wheat. If you've heard the saying "Kids raised on a farm know how to work hard." I will prove that to be true. I work hard in school, earning straight A's, involved in church & school activities/ clubs, but I also work with my dad on the family farm. When school isn't in session, the hours I put working on the farm are equivalent to a part-time job. I help prep machinary for planting & harvest seasons, drive field equipment, assist with irrigation maintenance (aka moving a lot of above ground pipe), & spring soil prep = picking rock by hand. I'm not afraid of hard work & will give this sport that I love my all.
