I first started playing school basketball when I was in 7th grade. Despite my late start, I was fortunate to have strong coaches who invested in me early on and motivated me to advance to the varsity level in high school. Additionally, I took advantage of opportunities to play for travel and AAU teams to further develop my skills.
Because I missed many of the developmental basketball years, I feel that I have not yet met my full potential as a player and am looking for a team and coach who can continue to push me to improve in all aspects of the game. I am also looking for a school that is the right fit for me academically as I wish to pursue a career in teaching physical education and coaching.
My primary goals for the remainder of my high school career revolve around strengthening my GPA, gaining experience in the field of teaching, and becoming a captain and leader for both my high school and travel basketball teams.
