Chimnedum Osuala '23 Recruiting Profile

Playing college basketball has been my goal since the beginning of my high school career. I want to be an important member who the team can rely on. I'm a person who works hard and is very diligent, and knows what it takes to play college basketball. I'm someone who listens to the coach and teammates respectively and can listen to criticism without getting mad, showing that I can be humble and put others before myself. But that doesn't mean that I won't be just as competitive and willing to get more playing time that my teammates. I'm a point guard who can look at the floor and find open teammates and make openings in the defense to get easy points. I can also read the defense and choose the best course of action. Although I'm a bit shorter than most recruits at 6'1", I'm just as passionate and will hustle and use my physicality to my advantage. In terms of academics, I've never had a GPA lower than 3.4 in my whole high school career and have recieved many academic awards. I know it won't be easy, but I'm ready to face failures and grow from them. That's what life is all about. With hard work and discipline, I'll achieve my dream of playing college basketball.
