Personal Statement

What will a college/basketball program get with A.J.: The college where I eventually go will be getting a student that has excelled academically, particularly in math, and whose primary goal is obtaining a degree. They will also be getting a person that has become a leader in the community of Muskego through positive example. The basketball coach that signs me will be getting a player that is skilled, reliable, and puts the team first, one that has been recognized and earned honors on the UAA shoe circuit, yet still looking for a college home. I have competed and held my own against some of the top ranked players in the country. With my shooting ability, I am always a threat that has to be accounted for on the court, thus opening up the floor for teammates. I also love basketball and am a genuine gym rat that continuously works on my game. My best attributes as a player have been described as follows: Exceptional shooter mid-range to NBA 3-point range, skilled at in-lane floaters, high level basketball IQ, elite dribbler & ball handler, willing screener & passer, plays within himself.

Club Information

  • Seasons of Club Experience
  • 1 season
  • 2018 Wisconsin Playground Warriors (Under Armour Association)
  • A.J. enjoyed a stellar 16U AAU season in which he was among the Under Armour leaders in a variety of offensive categories and was named to the all-session 2 UAA team at Indianapolis. In that session he recorded a 30-point game in a win vs. Team Charlotte, and 22-point game in another win over Team Rio. About 6-games into what was becoming a great start to his junior high school season, A.J. suffered a badly sprained ankle and missed six weeks, but fortunately only five games because of the holidays. He continued to work through the injury all the way through the live period of April. It wasn't till May when A.J. seemed to be back at 100%. The rest of the AAU season went very well, as he made 88 of 159 3pt shots from May through July, and scored just shy of 12 PPG, including 16 in a UAA showcase win in Atlanta over Oklahoma PWP.
