Chicago Fall 2017...Personal Statement
Being part of a program where I can make a difference is very important! I have a positive winning attitude and an inclusive leadership style. "Very coachable" and "a sponge" are terms used by others to describe me.
Encouraging and helping develop teammates improve their game is how I approach practices and summer league. Our New Holstein High School team has improved greatly over the past two years, winning conference championships in 2017 & 2018 and the regional championship in 2017.
I enjoy the challenge of playing with new teammates placing in tournaments and winning championships! I have experienced this with my AAU Team, the Wisconsin Blizzard and also in the summer of 2016 at the University of Wisconsin Badger Sports Camp. These tests of teamwork and skill have inspired me to seek out national showcase events to play against the best competition in the area. I was excited to receive a top five ranking for the Wisconsin All-American 2018 Fall Showcase Event in Madison, a national ranking for the Elite80 Scouts Focus Fall 2018 Showcase Event in Chicago and most recently being selected to represent the USA in the United World Games 2019 in Austria!
My goals are to receive a great education at a college where I can continue playing at a competitive level. I believe my leadership style, work ethic and character would make me a great fit for your program!
