Hi, I'm Michael Busateri and I would like to tell you a little bit about what my goals and aspirations are for college, why i'm very recruitable, and last but not least what makes me different from other recruits.
First, I would like to say that my goal is to play basketball at a division one or division two collegiate level. I have been playing basketball ever since I was in kindergarten and I have loved the sport since then. I have always had a love for the game and I always want to make myself better in all parts of my game. One thing I do to accomplish this is to work out every day. Sometimes I work on shooting drills, other days I focus on finishing and ball handling. When I can't get to a gym or court, I focus on strength by lifting weights and working on my vertical.
Second, I would like to tell you why I'm so recruitable. I am never satisfied. Ever. I pride myself on having a great work ethic not only on the court but off as well, and it doesn't just stop at basketball. I also work very hard in school and I maintain a 4.0 GPA every quarter. I have a very good attitude. Along with that I am a outstanding leader on and off the court. If you need me to get a team ready for a game not only physically but mentally as well, I can and will do it. If my team is down in the middle of a game, I pick my team up by telling them to keep on focusing on the next shot, and not get down on one that was missed.
Finally, I would like to say that I am different from other recruits because I will never stop. I will always be a hard worker. I will always play better than anyone else on the court because my basketball IQ is very high. I can analyze a defense at any given moment and I will be able to come up with an offense that can counter it. The same thing goes for my defense. I can analyze an offense and figure out how to shut it down. I am a very balanced player and I pride myself on being a pure scorer and also being able to distribute the ball very well among my teammates. I always hustle back down on defense and I am an excellent shot blocker. I'm very shifty and agile, so I am able to cut off a passing lane, get a steal, and finish with an easy layup on a fast-break.
Thank you for taking the time to look into me not only as a player but as a person as well.
