My name is Dylan Anderson. I have been playing basketball all of my life. My basketball career has been highlighted with many competitive and high level games / teams I've played for and against.
The highlights of my high school career, so far, were my sophomore basketball season, which was last year, when my high school team made a deep playoff run only to come up one game short of state. And then this year, we made it to state but finished third losing to the eventual state champions (Kaukana). We are hungry and will be back next year. The greatest thing is every year we set new records for how far our high school has ever gone. I plan to play college basketball and continue my career for a long time.
I am the most competitive person I know. My dad has influenced me the most during my life academically and athletically. He has taught me nearly everything I know and has been a huge part of my success on and off the court. Basketball is my entire lifestyle and I want to play for many years to come after high school. Basketball has also taught me how to work together with my team to accomplish goals, and how to support my teammates in their time of need. Basketball has taught me that I can accomplish many things when I put everything I have into it. Basketball has made me realize how many things I can accomplish both as a teammate and as an individual. Basketball is very important to me but school is also a big part. as I know I need to be well rounded. I am very indulged in my studies and study very hard. I take a lot of advanced placement classes and challenge myself in many ways. I am dually equipped, I am a great student and a great athlete. I am willing to do anything to play and compete. That is why I am right for your team.
In addition to being a team captain, all conference, all county basketball player I also started playing varsity baseball as a freshman. I am a well rounded two sport athlete. An honors student. A great teammate. And I just try to be a great person.
