• Coming into high school I was quickly taught that I needed to balance sports and school and stay as efficient as possible. The hard way of learning this was competing in diving, gymnastics, and taking 3 AP/Honors classes. The lesson that was taught was the importance of keeping up to date with school work while also making time for sports. At regionals I took first on 4 events and All Around which was a reward for the hard work put in for both school and sports.

• After recovering from a knee surgery on the meniscus, I was able to push through and take second on all events. It took a lot of effort and recovery training to catch up to teammates and other teams that were competing and I was lucky enough to have an opportunity to return to get stronger and better than before. Teaching me about work effort and drive.
