Kelan Huffman '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Kelan Huffman and I am from Powell, Ohio. Diving has been in my blood at early age, I started diving when I was 5 years old. I got started diving on a summer league team and instantly fell in love with the sport. At first I was only diving two days a week and it quickly escalated into three days, then four days, and now six days per week. Throughout the years I have progressed and improved a lot. One of proudest accomplishments is I have been to Junior Nationals on one meter, three meter, and platform every year since 2010.

I love the mental and physical challenges of the sport. Also, there is no better feeling then flying through the air! I am looking for a coach that is interested in more of the developmental side of diving, and someone that will not only be my coach but also be a teacher/mentor to me. Finally, I am interested in studying exercise sciences and then going into physical therapy. Once I graduate I want to become a physical therapist, and specialize in athletic recovery. I want to be able to help athletes get back to doing the sport or activity that they love doing.
