Hello, my name is Gavin Richardson and I am currently a senior at Grapevine High School in Grapevine, Tx . This is my fourth year to compete diving, for my school. I also take lessons and compete on a local club team named GC Divers. Fun fact, I did not begin diving until my freshman year. My love of trampolining seemed like a skill that might parlay into high school diving, and what do you know, it did! Making the transition to landing on my hands/head seemed to be the major hurtle. I have learned a lot in the past 3 years and have competed at the state level each year thus far.
In addition to continuing to dive, one of my university objectives is to persue an education in business. I would like to eventually be an entrepreneur and learn the commercial real estate field. I have a fun, upbeat and enthusiastic personality. I also know when to be serious. I hope to be a good teammate and strive to better myself, as well as my colleagues. I am a dedicated athlete who prides himself in how I carry myself, in order to demonstrate my passion for the sport to coaches, teammates, and others.
I look forward to the next four years of my life and hoping to find the perfect fit when it comes to university life.
