Matt Munns '16 Recruiting Profile

I would like and be privileged to go to college, but i would love and be honored if i could have that opportunity along with one of my passions, diving. Since i've been little, i've done lots of sports from football to baseball to swimming, but i cant find a sport that i like more than diving. Diving is a sport that challenges the individual mentally and physically and their are no boundaries of how far an athlete can take their abilities in the sport. I have lots of team spirit when it comes to any sport and any team, and find myself fairly competitive and also want to compete to my fullest potential. Academically i push my self, having taking on a larger work load at my current high school of Madison West, taking honors and AP classes, which granted are much more work, but i believe that the knowledge i have obtained from these classes are far and beyond some other options of courses at West High. IN college i would like to delve my studies into the natural and environmental sciences, and through obtaining knowledge from these courses, i could possibly fulfill my aspirations of adding to the resolutions of some global issues such as global warming, global hunger, and environmental conservation. As an athlete i have the drive for learning new things and setting goals higher and higher, no matter what sport im doing. I've been told that im very coachable and have a good work ethic. In my eyes i see myself as a leader, and overall people person, who is easy to get along with, and is an ambitious friend. I hope that you will consider me to be apart of you're team, for it would be a great honor.
