I began playing golf at the age of eight playing in US Kids events. I have always enjoyed playing golf with my dad and friends but in the last year I made a decision to really focus on getting better and working hard to have a chance to play college golf. I love the challenge golf presents and the opportunity to learn and grow every time I play. I want to pursue golf on the collegiate level and work to improve my skills as a student and golfer. My daily commitment to golf includes improving my technique, endurance, physical strength as well as mental strength and overall understanding of the game. I will continue to work locally with my coaches and in tournaments in order to improve my scores. I played on my high school basketball team the last two years as a starting center. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and serving in my church. . Academics are very important to me as I finish up my junior year and begin my senior year. I seek to represent a college as an athlete with advanced academic skills and strong moral standards.
