Austin Bunch '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Austin Bunch and I am looking forward to playing golf at the collegiate level. I started playing competitive golf in 2023 and have grown in my love for the game and shown improvement in my game, this has caused me to work even harder towards my goal of playing college golf. Living in Alaska has its disadvantages and difficulties with our short season, limited opportunities and no high school golf, but this has made me even more determined and dedicated to succeed.

Golf has taught me many life lessons and I have seen my self improve in this sport. I recognized my heart and have work extremely hard to improve my game. In the last 2 years I have gone from a 25 handicap to a 4. I recently won a course championship at the hardest course in the state, I also played in the junior state championship and got second and prior to this I won a junior club championship these experiences made me realize how much my hard work paid off. I am on track to graduate high school with a 4.5 GPA.
