Barrett Bowers '22 Recruiting Profile

I started playing golf with my dad when I was 9. I loved the feeling of hitting a good shot, so I became focused on improving and playing competitively. I have competed in JGAA tournaments, Antigua Prep Tour tournaments, and PGA Junior League. I made the varsity golf team at Saguaro High School as a freshman and was proud to help my team go to the State Championship. I qualified and played at the IMG Junior World tournament in San Diego, and it is one of my goals to play there again. My current swing coach, Al Murdock, is helping my swing and other parts of the game. I get good grades in school and pride myself on being a self starter when it comes to homework and studying. I also enjoy playing the guitar and working out. I enjoy working and improving my golf game and all the friends and experiences that come from playing golf.
