I am of Hispanic heritage, born in Yuma, Arizona. Growing up in an agriculture setting, my life was paved out for me. To stay and continue working the farm life. Having mixed feelings, I was unsure of what I wanted to do after gradating High School as my academics were not my strong suit. Thinking the college life may not be for me, even though it was something I yearned for. Until I was employed at The Town Of Wellton Parks and Recreations. My position started in 2019, taking care of all the "greens". Easy right, cutting the grass, no problem. In reality there was a lot to learn, not as simple. There were specific ways to cut and treat different areas. I became fascinated with all the details. As I meticulously cared for the course, other interest started to peak. Watching the actual sport of Golf was so amazing. Going home and researching the sport, made me want to give it a swing. My attraction to sports extends further than school settings. At the age of three my parents signed me up for T-Ball. I have not stopped playing all sports since then. I keep up to date with developments, enjoy the interaction, the feeling, the ultimate focus, working with others, but most of all the personal challenge. My most recent goals achieved has been understanding a healthier life style. Loosing approximately 140lbs all naturally. I am able to participate in ways I wasn't able to before. Setting my mind and pushing the limits. After accomplishing and maintaining my new objective. I know in my heart, body and soul I can hit any target I strive for in life. College is for me. Golf is for me.
