Personal Statement

My goal is to play Division 1 Golf in the program that is the best fit for me allowing me to excel in both athletics and academics.

My current rank in the state of CA for class of 2017 is 29. My national rank for class of 2017 is 190.

I have always been a competitive athlete. From the age of 5 I played baseball, soccer, football and basketball. In Little League Baseball I was a four time all star known for my hitting abilities and played travel baseball in addition. I played basketball on my Jr. High team and was a quarterback when I played football. In eight grade, I tried competitive golf during a break from baseball and realized I had found my athletic passion. I have been playing golf since I was 6, but after realizing my passion to be on the golf course, I dedicated myself to golf full time, and worked extremely hard to catch up competitively to the other players that have been competing in golf from an early age. I am proud of my work ethic, dedication to practice and ability to work well with my coach. It has paid off in generating results. In addition to the individual finishes I have included here, my result for The Future Collegians World Tour (FCWT 2014-2015 Tour) was 7th place overall in points, 2nd place overall points for class of 2017 tour members.

I have established myself as a strong competitor who never gives up, and feel that I will be an exceptional college golfer as my growth is on a trajectory to reach my highest potential.

Being a part of team, bringing people together, and leading by example have been constant themes throughout my life. I desire to continue that at the collegiate level.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
