I belong to a family which is filled with genuine love for the game of golf. I became addicted to the game because of the numerous goals I set and achieve. All the way from a purely struck golf ball to having the ability to play rounds at sub-par. Along with one main role model influencing my golf game the most, my dad. My dad's helpful tips as well as picking me back onto my feet from an off day keeps me determined to prosper at this sport that I am committed to. I am also passionate about my academics. Currently, I have a grade point average above a 3.7 and I strive to increase that average, and intend on maintaining and improving that average through high school, and college.
Along with playing golf for a majority of my life, I have picked up some hobbies as well that can correspond to the game of golf. The first hobby that I picked up was the Rubik's Cube. Once learned I continued to learn faster algorithms to then reduce my speed to thirty seconds or less. Once that was achieved, I could then focus on executing those algorithms correctly, which corresponds with keeping focus during golf to play at your best. Another skill that further progresses my golf game is playing guitar. Since I enjoy listening to rock music, it was simple to think of songs to play. Once learned it is muscle memory, just like golf. Only, with golf, it is the swing that becomes muscle memory.
