Golf is my passion, but I understand and appreciate the value of a good education. I am currently able to blend the demands of a rigorous academic schedule at Harvard-Westlake with the desire to be on the golf course. I look forward to similar challenges ahead as I work towards refining my golf game and competing at the highest levels possible.
How do you feel when you are playing great and poorly?
When I am playing great the feeling is amazing. All my shots are spot on and I am really proud of the way I play. When I am playing great, my goal is to continue that and be consistent with this “greatness” throughout the rest of the round.
When I am playing poorly I think to myself about what I am doing wrong. I then try to work on fixing this issue but i stay head strong throughout the round and I have confidence in myself that I will fix whatever it is I am doing and that I will get through the round and finish strong. I am proud of myself no matter what as long as I am mentally confident and stable throughout the round.
Why do I love golf?
I love golf because it is such a beautiful sport where you can have touch/finesse but also power and strength. Golf has also been something passed down through generations in my family. Both of my grandpas are/were great golfers. My great uncle used to be a scratch golfer and 2 of my great grandpas were scratch golfers or better. Golf also relates to life as a whole. You need to be headstrong and have control over your body. Golf is both a mental sport and an athletic one too. I have a huge passion and love for the game and I am looking forward to sharing it with the team.
