As long as I can remember, I have loved the game of golf, and I have dreamed of playing golf at the highest level someday. I am very competitive and prepare very hard to perform well in competitions. I try to improve every day by doing things that the best golfers do: like working out, practicing with purposes, and learning from my mistakes and successes.
I feel it’s important to support my teammates by leading by example through my positive attitude, maturity, and strong desire to win.
I am very respectful of coaches. If they are giving me the chance to be on their team, I feel that I need to show my appreciation. I listen to what they say when they give me advice, even if it’s not always what I want to hear. So I follow their directions and guidance, because I trust their experience and knowledge of the game of golf.
For these same reasons, I respect teachers in the classroom by listening to what they say and applying myself to the tasks they assign. Doing well in school is my top priority.
More than anything, I want to play championship golf while doing my best in college.
