Timothy Holyk '23 Recruiting Profile

Dear coach, 

I’m Timothy Holyk and I’m from Indio California. I’ve played basketball for the past eight years and it has been my focus. Things I have learned through that is hard work and persistence. Over the last two years, I have had many knee injuries. The doctor told me it would be better for my health to find another sport. Because my parents are both golf professionals, I figured golf was the best choice and then fell in love  with the game. I started playing in March of 2022. I currently have a 2.5 handicap. I take school very seriously, first because I feel it is important to have a good education (currently hold a 4.2 GPA), second because I look forward to continuing my education in college, and I also know how important it is to have my academics mimic my golf skill level.  I will always do my best to achieve the goal set in front of me.  I can honestly say that I'm a hard worker and will do anything to never be questioned about my effort.
