Personal Statement

My dream is to play competitive college golf while obtaining a good education then having a career in professional golf. Ultimately I would like to play competitive golf as a professional. I am a team player and have been playing competitive team sports since I was four years old. Everything from soccer to hockey to basketball to lacrosse - golf is my true passion.  I have been playing golf since I could walk and started summer golf camps at the age of five. I started playing tournament golf when I was nine years old. I am now focused primarily on golf even though I also still play competitive high school varsity hockey. Just like in hockey I like to score but now it's all about scoring birdies and eagles.

I attended my first college golf combine December 10-11, 2016 in Las Vegas and came in first place as one of the youngest participants. I also recently won the North Bay League High School Championship finishing with 2 under par - 70.. I have won the northern California regional drive, chip and putt championship (1st in Driving, 1st in Putting) followed up by finishing 2nd overall for the entire West Coast (1st in Chipping) in September 2016. I have played on various tours over the past eight years including AJGA, JTNC, JGANC, USKG and FCG. I have either won tournaments or consistently placed in the top 10 over those years. I have also qualified and played in four world junior championships and did very well shooting two rounds of par or better. This year plan to continue to play in multiple local and national tour events including AJGA.

As a freshman at Casa Grande "The Big House" I became the number one seed, MVP of the year, Rookie of the Year, finished 3rd overall in the North Bay League and made all sectional team. As a Sophomore, I won the NBL High School Championship finishing 1st and named MVP of the year and was recognized as All League. I have also been playing in the Bay City Junior League (up to 21 year old players) with the Santa Rosa Golf Club Team for the past 4 yrs and moved up to the number 2 seed at the age of 14 and this season I took over the number one seed at age 15 playing and winning matches against college players.

I have other sports achievements as well. I have won team awards for MVP, Sportsmanship and Most Inspirational. I was also Captain of our ice hockey team. I believe being a strong team player combined with my individual golf skills will be an excellent addition to a competitive golf program.
