I have been playing with a close group of girls since we were all young on our towns local youth team, the Rivercats. Starting my freshman year on Varsity, we managed to make a name for our high school in girls lacrosse, by going from last in the league to winning the League Championship two years in a row. Our team has been incredibly close each year as the roster changes, known to be humble, yet fierce competitors who play with heart. Like many of my teammates, I have developed strong skills and knowledge of the game from many years of experience and love for the sport. The reason I am driven to continue my lacrosse career past high school is from the hope and excitement that I can form a similar bond at a new school with other women who share the same passion.
I have a wide array of interests that seem to change and grow regularly, and the will to dive into new things. I am looking for a school that is able to and will support me in my academic journey and help me through my transition towards independence. Even though lacrosse is important to me, academics also reign a crucial part of my life. Currently enrolled in an AP math and AP English class, I value hard, genuine work and am never to person to shy away from a bit of challenge. I am a dedicated worker, a driven competitor, and student-athlete looking forward to the future lacrosse seasons to come.
