Alex (AJ) Hebert '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, As you already know I am AJ Hebert. I am currently a senior at Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton California. As my life has progressed I have found a few things that have really impacted my life, some of which being my parents, and my teachers, but most of all the game of golf. Golf has taught me about myself and has really shaped who I am today, a honest, responsible, and persistent human being. My most important accomplishment in golf is my win at the JGANC tournament at Round Hill. It wasn't just that I won the tournament, but that I started off so poorly, and was able to persevere through the round and ended up so well. Although it was not the best round of my life, it was the hardest round, and I love and thrive in pressure/hard situations. What I can offer your team is a player who will stop at nothing to be the best on your team and make it through college and into the PGA tour, because I do not see myself doing anything other than golf in the future, and college is the way that I will make my way to golf in the future. In a best case scenario I would like to go to college somewhere in California, but i am not by any means letting go of the idea of going to college outside of California. I am totally open to all types of colleges and would like to discover all that the US has to offer for colleges. One thing that will help me make my decision will be scholarships offered to me as my family is not in the best of financial situations. No matter what in the future I want to stay in golf. If I end up not making it on the PGA tour then I would like to become a golf course designer. I would do this by majoring in landscape architecture. I want to go to college with a spot for which I can contribute as a competitor. I am not trying to go to a college where I am not going to be able to compete and play for the team. I want to go to a college that I will be able to play, compete, and win championships. I will thrive on the college golf scene because I have the passion for this great sport and I will stop at nothing to succeed.
