Apurva Kannu '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Apurva Kannu and have been playing field hockey for six years. Field hockey, for me, is not just a sport, but a passion. My passion for hockey has made me more focused, challenged, aspiring, and has allowed me to achieve leadership skills on and off the field. Field hockey has driven me to be the best version of myself. I have become more athletic and have built up my social and interaction skills due to the team sport. As a player and a person, I am much more confident, mentally tough, and agile. I have many aspects to my game as well as my personality which makes me a great athlete. I put in as much work in academics, as I do on and off the field. I aim to pursue the biology and technology field during college and after. My commitment to push myself both academically and athletically is the reason why I want to play field hockey at the collegiate level.
