Personal Statement

I began playing organized sports when I was five years old. I have played baseball, soccer and water polo and while I have enjoyed them all, there was something missing. In 2016, my father convinced me to play golf full time and I fell in love and haven't looked back since. I am thankful that I took his advice. The most influential event in my life was the passing of my grandfather. It made me realize that nobody lives forever and life is what you make of it. Playing golf has helped me realize that if I put too much pressure on certain parts of my life, I will spend too much time worrying and less time trying to improve myself. My biggest obstacle I've had to overcome is that I am never satisfied with my golf game, I am constantly trying to get better. I would like to focus more on the good things that come with the day.

  • Par 71, 7,027 Yards. 75(+4), 19th/42. Terrible putting day, played under pressure all day and it was a great learning experience. Firing on all aspects of my game including driving and iron play. Was estimated to have lost 5 strokes putting in one day. Some serious work coming my way but soon its going to be lethal.
  • Camp/Event
  • FCG National Tour Labor Day Champioship
  • 9/05/20 to 9/06/20

  • 7,037 Yards Par 72. 7,204 Yards Par 72. 83-79 MC. My first professional event got off to a terrible start being +7 through 8 holes. Some work to do but the game feels really good right now.

  • t32/110 78-72 Shandin Hills - Par 72 6,517 Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet - Par 72 6,804 . Some work to do with the irons. Every other part of the game feels great. Really looking forward to these next couple months!
  • Camp/Event
  • VJGA Temecula Junior Championship
  • 7/22/20 to 7/23/20
  • t1/22 Par 72 6,605 78(+6), 74(+2). Both days played in some serious win. Struggled coming down the stretch on day 2 but got some good experience on decision making under pressure. Good prep for Toyota Q School next week.
  • Camp/Event
  • FCG International at Rancho Bernardo Inn
  • 7/19/20 to 7/20/20
  • t28/42 Par 72 6,800 Yards. 76(+4) , 83(+11). No excuses. Really poor performance with the irons on both days and not enough in the short game department to get away with it.
  • Camp/Event
  • FCG Callaway World Championship
  • 7/13/20 to 7/15/20
  • t7/119 Par 72 6,528 Yards 68(-4), 72(E), 68(-4) = -8. 3 good driving days setup gave me a ton of chances into par 4's with wedges in hand. Made more birdies than mistakes. Nothing to complain about it was a solid tournament through and through!
  • Camp/Event
  • VJGA Riverside Junior Championship
  • 7/08/20 to 7/09/20
  • 2nd/17 Par 71 6,550 73(+2), 72(+1). Did a tremendous job at keeping some of the big numbers off, putting was better than it has been but there is still some room for improvement. Very solid showing heading into the second half of summer!
  • Camp/Event
  • FCG International Championship
  • 6/29/20 to 7/01/20
  • 16th/110 Par 70 6,693 Yards 67(-3), 74(+4), 73(+3). Struggled with putting throughout the week, Good tournament showing and yet another good learning experience.
  • Camp/Event
  • FCG Collegiate Summer Series at Twin Oaks
  • 6/16/20 to 6/18/20
  • 73(+1) on Day one. Started off round 2 with 2 birdies but had to withdraw through 13 holes with a back injury. Good opportunity to play with some guys at the collegiate level and see how they handle certain situations and eliminate the really big numbers.
  • Camp/Event
  • National Tour Spring Series Championship
  • 6/06/20 to 6/07/20
  • t18/44. 6,755 Yards 76(+4), 79(+7). No excuses just poor mentality all day Sunday on a golf course that is very demanding off the tee, Time to practice and get ready for next week.
  • Camp/Event
  • 12th Annual FCG Memorial Championship
  • 5/23/20 to 5/24/20
  • t19/45 6,721 Yards Par 71 76(+5)-74(+3) Incredible two driving and iron days, putting irons and wedged consistently within 10 feet giving myself incredible looks at birdies but a dreadful putting performance, missed upwards 15 putts within 10 feet for birdie or par. But once again I had a great weekend with the other thirteen clubs in my bag and now we have something to look forward to because when I put some time into putting and start to improve its going to be GOOD!
  • Camp/Event
  • National Tour Spring Challenge
  • 5/16/20 to 5/17/20
  • t7/25 6,398 Yards Par 71, 73(+2)-75(+4). Led the field in birdies for the tournament with nine over a two rounds. Solid driving and great ball striking all weekend, but a triple and quadruple bogey in the same round can never end with a GREAT score, Nonetheless it was a good learning experience and a huge confidence booster for my first tournament back after COVID quarantine.
  • Camp/Event
  • VJGA Winter Series Championship Legends
  • 2/29/20 to 3/01/20
  • T1/18 Par 72 6,679 Yards R1 72(E), 5 Birdies, 5 Bogeys, 12F, 11G, 29 Putts 3/8 Up & Downs. R2 81(+9) 2 Birdies, 8 Bogeys, 1 Triple Bogey, 11F, 10G, 35 Putts, 1/8 Up & Downs. Extreme winds on the second day and some seriously short putts that should've gone in. More putting practice but a lot to take from this performance!
  • Camp/Event
  • National Tour Las Vegas Spring Open @ Revere
  • 2/22/20 to 2/23/20
  • 13th/27 Par 72 6,529 Yards R1 78(+6) 1Birdie, 7Bogeys, 12F, 13G, 3/5 Up & Down, 37 Putts. R2 74(+2) 4Birdies, 4Bogeys, 1 Double Bogey 12F, 13G, 3/5 Up & Down, 33 Putts. Poor putting performance for two days equal poor scores. More putting practice ASAP
  • Camp/Event
  • FCG Club Hub College Showcase
  • 1/04/20 to 1/05/20
  • t55/84 Par 72 6,996 Yards R1 85(+13). 10 Fairways 4 Greens 28 Putts 5/12 Scrambling 100 yards and in. R2 79(+7)7. Fairways 4 Greens 23 Putts 9/14 Scrambling 100 yards and in. Going through some major swing changes to build consistency. Clearly they haven't come into full effect. My putting in round 2 was absolutely phenomenal while making almost everything inside of 10 feet This was a good learning experience for my first time playing a tournament from 7,000 yards.
  • Camp/Event
  • FCG NOR CAL WORLD SERIES AT POPPY HILLS
  • 11/30/19 to 12/01/19
  • 18th/26 Par 71 6,672 Yards 87(+16) 5 Fairways, 6 Greens, 1 Birdie, 9 Bogeys, 2 Double Bogeys, 1 Quadruple Bogey. R2 10 Fairways, 8 greens, 1 Birdie, 10 Bogeys, 5 Double Bogeys. Pouring Rain and high winds all weekend provided the hardest playing conditions on an already difficult course. A great learning experience.
  • Camp/Event
  • National Tour Las Vegas Championship
  • 11/23/19 to 11/24/19
  • t7th/23 Par 72 6,529 Yards R1 12 Fairways, 12 Greens, 3 Birdies, 3 Bogeys, 1 Double Bogey R2 11 Fairways, 13 Greens, 2 Birdies, 4 Bogeys, 1 Double Bogey. A good weekend but a little struggle with the putter. I was fortunate enough to play with the very high ranked Yuki Moriyama on the second round and got to see how he handled certain situations during a round of golf. Overall a great experience.
  • Camp/Event
  • FCG So Cal World Series Championship @ La Costa
  • 11/09/19 to 11/10/19
  • t21st/44 Par 72 6,587 Yards R1 8 Fairways, 10 Greens, 1 Birdie, 5 Bogeys, 1 Double Bogey, 1 Triple Bogey. R2 11 Fairways, 13 Greens, 1 Birdie, 8 Bogeys. Struggled with the driver and consistancy with the long irons. Nontheless a good experience of playing in dry windy air.
  • Camp/Event
  • VJGA @ General Old
  • 10/13/19 to 10/13/19
  • t2/23 Par 72 6,812 Yards 75(+3) 9 Fairways 12 Greens, 4 Birdies, 4 Bogeys, 1 Triple Bogey. I was -2 on the last 10 holes after getting off to a very shaky start on the first. The irons and driver were really solid on back nine and the putting was consistent all day it was just a matter of chances I gave myself.
  • Camp/Event
  • VJGA Menifee Lakes Championship
  • 9/14/19 to 9/15/19
  • 5th/20 R1 Par 72 6,446 Yards. 75(+3) 9 Fairways, 14 Greens, 2 Birdies, 3 Bogeys, 1 Double Bogey. R2 Par 72 6,528 Yards. 76(+4) 12 Fairways, 13 Greens, 2 Birdies, 4 Bogeys, 1 Double Bogey.
  • Camp/Event
  • Toyota Tour Cup Q-School
  • 8/17/19 to 8/18/19
  • t83/137 R1 77(+5) Par 72 6,672 Yards 9 Fairways, 11 Greens, 1 Eagle, 1 Birdie, 6 Bogeys, 1 Double Bogey. R2 81(+9) Par 72 6,780 Yards 11 Fairways, 8 Greens 1 Birdie, 6 Bogeys, Two Double Bogeys.
  • Camp/Event
  • TTC Redhawk Qualifier @ Shandin Hills
  • 8/11/19 to 8/11/19
  • t9/51 Par 72 6,517 Yards. 75(+3) 10 Fairways, 16 Greens, 3 Birdies, 4 Bogeys, 1 Double Bogey. The game felt really good in all aspects especially with 16 greens but lack of confidence with the putter and the greens being very bumpy in late summer didn't mix well together as I was giving myself some very good opportunities but only managed to get good bounces 3 times on the green.
  • Camp/Event
  • Lakewood Summer Championship
  • 7/28/19 to 7/28/19
  • 7th/25, Par 72, 6,416 Yards, 75(+3) 7 Fairways, 9 Greens, 1 Eagle, 2 Bogeys, 1 Triple Bogey. Game all around felt solid today just very sloppy with the flat stick that costed me many good opportunities.
  • Camp/Event
  • 10th Annual SCPGA Jack Kramer Memorial
  • 7/18/19 to 7/20/19
  • 7th/29. Rounds 1&3 were played on the North Course and Round 2 was played on the South Course. I shot 44(+8) on the front side in round one and followed it up by shooting a 36(E) on the back. Second round I shot a 71(-3). Third round was a 76(+4). North Course 6,698 Yards Par 72, South Course 7,003 Yards Par 74.

  • t18/55. Par 71, 6,295 Yards 76(+5) 10 Fairways, 8 Greens, 3 Birdies, 4 Bogeys, 2 Double Bogeys. Game feels really good right now but lack of course knowledge cost me two unforced double bogeys.
  • Camp/Event
  • Players Tour 2-Day @ Twin Oaks
  • 7/15/19 to 7/16/19
  • 23rd/38. Par 72 6,535 Yards R1 82(+10).5 Fairways, 4 Greens, 0 Birdies, 6 Bogeys, 2 Double Bogeys, and 6 Fairways. R2 - 76(+2) 3 Fairways, 9 Greens, 2 Birdies, 4 Bogeys, and 1 Double Bogey.

  • 6/30/19 to 6/30/19
  • 6104 Yards Par 70 75(+5) 7 Fairways, 10 Greens, 1 Birdie, 6 Bogeys. T1/12 (Won in Playoff) Driver is getting back to where it needs to be, Irons and wedges felt good but not great, just couldn't quite get the putter rolling how it normally does.
